Transparent PNG
A transparent PNG is an image file with an alpha channel — only your logo prints on the shirt, with no white box around the artwork.
A transparent PNG is a raster file saved with a so-called alpha channel, which tells software that the background of the image is invisible. Unlike a JPG, which always carries a solid (usually white) background, a transparent PNG contains only the logo or lettering itself — and that is exactly what ends up on the shirt.
It is the most convenient raster format for ordering custom prints: you send the file, and we prepare a realistic design proof showing your logo in the chosen spot. For a sharp DTF print, the file should be around 300 DPI at the final print size.
Only have your logo on a white background, or in rough shape? No worries — as part of our free print-file preparation we remove the background and clean up the artwork, and you get a design proof to approve before production. Start on the Design page.
